I have the PL assign the boys an even distribution of jobs for each
event. A sort of random approach, but each boy, by the time he has
completed all of the other requirements should have served as cook for
each meal as well as done all of the other jobs. It make job
assignments easier; makes the requirement easier to make up, a meal
instead of a weekend; and reduces record keeping. There's drawbacks,
but I think we hit the spirit and even the substance of the requirement.
I'm glad this topic was brought up. I'm always looking for better
ways. I like Ken's approach and may adopt it.
