ASM on BoR

Several of you have sent me email stating that it is wrong for ASM to be
on BoR and that the Advancement Form has the names of the BoR members for
each applicant... Is this a signature? or just a printed name... but in
either case - I've been on several BoR - my position is ASM (and District
Committee) although the later position is recent. I have never signed
an Advancement Form.
Now, having seen so much on this list about BoR and who sits on them - I
brought this issue up to our SM and CC ... Both agreed the right thing to
do is to have committee only on the BoR - However, that becomes almost
impossible to schedule BoR and get these people to all commit on the same
day... a very tough situation..
So here is what I proposed to them - We ask our sponsor members if they'd
be willing to partake in BoR only (and therefore be registered as Comm. Members)
If we were able to recruit enough just for that job, we could have a
schedule such that any one person wouldn't have to partake in the BoR if
their schedule didn't allow that... The idea here is to allow them to only
have to do BoR (at first -smile), thus allowing the chartering partner
to know the boys (what a concept *grin*) ...
BTW - Thanks to those who gave me input on my question - very much appreciated!
