Greetings Scouts and Scouters:
This message appeared on the listserv recently and I wanted to add a couple

What Bill did NOT say is that he also served for a full year (elected 2
times) as SPL for the troop of 60 boys. During that time not only did the
troop grow, but at summer camp (1995), and with the support of the past SPL
(whom he had defeated for reelection) the troop was SANDY BEACH CHAMPS
(Week 6 at Yawgoog). Bill has completed his Eagle project and merit badges
and I am proud to say that the Committee Chairman (me) signed his paperwork
Also, Bill's father, Ken, became a Vigil Honor membor of the Lodge at the
same time, is Chapter Advisor and has been a mainstay of Troop 68 for 5
years. Both Bill and Ken have earned the Year Around Camper Award for 5
Welcome Bill! See you at the Scout meeting on Thursday!
