Yes Cheryl, it is your definition that is faulty. A leader for a BSA troop
is considered the Scoutmaster and assistant unit leaders are considered the
Assistant Scoutmasters. Committee Chairman, Committee Members, Chartered
Organization Representatives, and Merit Badge Counselors are not considered
unit leaders or assistant unit leaders.
