I hope you are not telling us that these issues are not to be discussed
simply because conversation surrounding them can become heated. For the
BSA particularly, but for others as well, the 3 Gs are of concern. If
this is to be a Scouting forum, are we to leave only these difficult
topics "at the door", or will other controversial subjects have to be
left "at the door" because they have the potential to stir sometimes
Censorship, beyond that which an individual imposes upn him or herself
in keeping with the Scout Promise and Law is something that I don't
really care for.
Besides, I don't know that I have agreed to disagree to the extent that
I am unwilling to put forth my point of view on any one of the 3 Gs if
the subject is raised, and I have always been able to do so in a
reasoned and Scout-like maner.
