Good to hear from you again. It's easy. Swimming sure ties in--look at
second class and first class requirements, swimming, lifesaving,
canoeing, rowing, and sailboating merit badges. lkEvery kid's got to
take the BSA swim test, right? Swimming is a no-brainer, as they say.
Bowling could be the individual (or team?) sport for Sports merit badge.
You can also stress physical fitness, etc. by using it. I suspect that
if you think about it, you can tie in most any activity that's legal,
ethical, and moral to BSA.
Anyway, it sounds like fun! Don't worry, I think you're doing
scouting--even though the guys may not realize it.
