I am planning a campfire for the end of the year as a thank you to our
district and area scouting teams as well as the parents and families of the
scouts. I am looking for sure fire songs, skits, yells, cheers, walk ons
etc that people have used in the past at campfires with excellent results.
I am trying to introduce variety, spice and excitement by usiong new skits,
songs, yells etc. I have a flambouant way to start the fire and how to
gather the audience around the campfire with a walkway of light from the
carpark and scouts along that walkway holding flaming torches as the
audience walk towards the campfire and take their seats.
I am wanting to show that you dont always have to stick to the same old
boring songs, skits etc that everyone does all the time but with a little
imagination your can really get something going. We are allowing the troop
3 weeks to practice before we present it.
Any idead or suggestions you may have will be greatfully accepted.
