When I was in Cub Scouts, my mom was an Assistant Den Mother (the title
then). Some of my other friends' mom's were den mothers and assistants as
well. However, it was the "rule" in our pack that a parent and child were
never in the same den. Since we met at a local school in the afternoon (we
wore our uniforms to school on that day ... and changed INTO sneakers for
gym...) this was not a problem.
However, by the time I crossed into Boy Scouts things had changed a bit for
me. My dad was my Scoutmaster for several years.
Cubs were easier. <g>
