I know it may sound weird but Delta Airlines has a WONDERFUL 100% wool
blanket (perfect lap size too) that they use on their airlines for
passenger comfort :) On her last trip, my mother-in-law asked the
stewardess if she could buy a couple of them to take home and they said
yes and sold them to her for $15 each (brand new ones in wrappers), I
think. They are dark gray and are light but VERY warm.
Reading the messages in this thread made me think of this, and I think
this would make a PERFECT patch blanket!
