I don't mean to sound snide, but the Troop Committee is exactly what it says
- those people who are registered on the charter as members of the troop
committee. I don't see where there is any ambiguity about it. Just because
some people like to CONSIDER other people to be members of the committee, or
tries to save money by only registering certain people as members of the
committee doesn't change the fact that Committee Member is a registered
position and when the literature talks about the committee that is what they
are talking about.

Part of the purpose of having the committee do all of the boards is to get
more of the adults in the unit involved in the actual function of the troop
and to force troops to have real working committees.
