Hello, fellow scouters,
I've been lurking for a couple of weeks, now and decided that this
is the most interesting way to get out of housework that I have ever
devised. I look forward to the daily digest, and sure see some
personalities out there! Keep it up!
Well, now I must de-lurk so that I can get in on some of these
discussions, "legally" <g>
I am a new Cub DL (Wolves), and I had a Tiger Cub den last year. I
used to teach science and 4th grade (no, they are not mutually exclusive)
before burn out at 4 years in the biz. I used to teach Natural History
classes at the local Zoo, and am a Primitive Lifestyles afficianado (no, I
don't have my own lodge...I can't get away from the computer long enough to
order one). So now I "stay home" (HAH, what a joke!) and am a mom, DL,
volunteer for this and that and this and that.....
I have an 11 year old who is about to become a Tenderfoot w/ Pack
91, and a 7 year old Wolf. I am also like most of you, I am afflicted with
the "can't say no, can't stand to let it go undone" disease (which,
unfortunatly for me, and fortunately for others, is Not contagious).
I got on the Internet about 6 months ago, wrote my first web page a
week later, and have been a CyberGeek ever since. I'm the Head TechHead at
my son's school, and am floored by the amt of info on the Net.
So, that's it for now,
