i'm just reading this about female cub leaders working with wolf
and bear den wearing khaki, so i may have missed a good portion of the
however, don't you find it a bit discriminatory that women and men's
uniforms are different? many years ago, everyone in cubbing wore blue and
gold: adults and youth alike.
it is my inderstanding the the blue and gold for the males was replaced in
order to save the male leaders from having to purchase additional
uniforms. this was an incentive to stay active in the program. perhaps
the implication here is that women are not to be encouranged to stay in
the program; or that perhaps women are not thrifty; or that women can't
figure this out.
i do comply with the regulations. so now you folks know that i do it
under protest and i'm glad it's friday. bye for now.
