Could you take the training from another Council? We are on the edge of
our Council here and are actually closer to the main offices of three
neighboring Councils than to our own.
You should have a Council training chair. Talk to him/her about this
problem. They may be able to open up this group. If nothing else your
District training chair could be replaced. (of course, if you're the one
doing all the complaining you may get stuck with the job.)
If all else fails: Do many others in your District feel the same? Why not
set up an "alternate" training staff and have an "unofficial" course for
those in the District who feel as you do.
