Just a quick Missouri (it's pronounced Mizzourah) Howdy! Heard so many good
things about Scouts-L and just had to 'see for myself' (This is the
As a note of introduction, my son Nicholas G. (see I have been
reading) is a Bear in Pack 364, Grandview, MO., HOAC. I am Webelos trained,
I volunteer for Day Camp Coordinator, stepped in to Communcations Chair, end
up on a lot of other lists (I know better than to go to the Loo) and really
have a great time with a swell bunch of people, Scouts! Nicholas just
finally received his Light of Christ & is working on his Parvuli Dei.
I am also very proud to have two daughters AngelaRose, and Christina
Bianca, who are in Brownies... I just wish that they were exposed to as much
as Nicholas is experiencing in a wonderful Pack!
This is our Pack's 35th anniversary and we had a wonderful fall
recruitment! Complete with several new parents who are actually enthused
about filling in positions! We put together a very nice parent's guide, with
a lot of help from the resources available on the Internet! So a BIG hand
goes out to all of you pioneers who have laid a great foundation for the
rest of us to Follow... If anyone is interested, I would be happy to E-Mail
you a copy, as we have received several compliments on our guide!
I feel rather spoiled, in that we belong to a very caring Pack with
several avenues of exploration and qualified leaders. No, we are not a
wealthy pack, (our dues are strictly at Den level for those little out of
pockets expenses) but we do several Pack activities (as well as the Den)
that the boys really enjoy! (Just wait til I get back to the next Committee
meeting with all the great NEW ideas I have seen here!)
I think I've bent your ears long enough...

(Wondering if there is an activity that would cover the creation of one?)
