We have an open house for all the Webelos each fall. This is a meeting with
activities specially planned for the large group. We invite them to come to
any regular meeting--just to call ahead in case we are meeting at a
different time/place that week.
As for the thread on demerets: We have a discipline & behavior policy in
our Troop handbook. When we had a behavior problem last spring we sent a
letter, with excerpts from the Handbook, to each family with a form for
parents & Scouts to sign saying that they had read and agree to abide by the
policy. No problems since.
