I won't quote the rest of your message, but you'll see another posting
from me on the same theme. I also had proposed such a MB to the FIDO
Scouter conference at least 7-8 yrs ago and had sent an inquiry to National
but without any response.
As you said, Nat'l may be rethinking things, having introduced Fam. Living.
The whole group of related MB's need to be looked at; home repairs, cooking,
family living, sewing(?), etc. I've looked for the proposal I had put
forward for a Sewing MB but can't find it. Your ideas for the Personal
Maintenance MB is good, but it may be trying to cram too much in one MB. I
see no reason for National's policy of limiting the number of MB's. I'd like
to see Sewing (maybe call it Clothing to encompass laundry), Vehicle
Add me to your "grass roots" campaign. I'll be glad to work with you and
others (thru e-mail) to develop sets of requirements.
