Ken Kittleberger, 6409 Cardinal Ln, Columbia, MD 21044, 410-
997-0563 sells a great variety of critter patches. Drop him
a note, he has a one page catalog. Many courses use his
patches as available sourverniers (sp!). He told me a couple
nights ago that he was beginning to run out of some things
(end of season). However, he has a 60th anniversary of Wood
Badge (1936-1996) patch that is new.
Rob Morley - Dual Positions
The rules say that one person cannot serve in more than one position in an indiv
idual troop, excep for serving as Chartered Organization
Representative and either Committee Chairman or Committee
Member. As a former commissioner, my take on that is that
we should not try to fill too many positions with too few
leaders. On the other hand, I do not see a real problem
with being the advancement chairman and doing some Assistant
Scoutmaster type duties with the approval of your Scoutmaster.
Been there, Done That! Furthere, it does not make any
difference for the award of the Scouter's Training Award.
