I think it sounds like a good idea. Cooking, shopping, etc--a lot of this
stuff I first learned in Scouts.
You could fold in some of the requirements from the late Consumer Buying MB.
How about: "Have earned 2 (or 3) of the following Merit Badges: Cooking,
Auto Repairs, Personal Finance, Home Repairs, Personal Management." They
are all related topics.
