I was recently given a nice gift by someone that inspired me by its
simplicity. I immediately purloined the idea as a great way of making a neat
little craft for Scouts.
One can purchased little business card size magnets at a local office supply
store. They come with a sticky backing to put business cards on.
A lady recently sent me one with a recipe on it for my mother's pound cake.
It is great to stick on the fridge.
Well what I did was take a Cub Scout emblem clip art, put it on a business
card label template in Wordperfect and wrote the Cub Scout promise on it.
Cut it out, slap in on the magnet, put a piece of contact paper on it to
protect it and PRESTO! A Neat little thing. I did the same for my daughter's
Girl Scout troop. You can do the same for BSA and anything for that matter.
Wordperfect has a label that fits perfectly as do most print shop type
program. Looks best if you have access to a color printer.
