You didn't give any details in your original post about the reason
behind the boy's lack of attendance. Also, when you said he had earned all
the Webelos pins, did he complete the requirements for Arrow of Light, too?
Is he a fifth grader? Has he turned 11 yrs. old yet?
If the answer is yes to the AOL or the age, then he can bridge to Boy
Scouts without waiting for the rest of his den. He may have become bored
with the den meetings (are they still fun for the rest of the boys?).
One other question: why is the den/pack waiting until spring to bridge
the second year Webelos? The 18-month program is geared to have them bridge
in January, February, or March, depending upon the den and in which month
they complete the Arrow of Light.
