A game our guys enjoy is "Fruit Basket upset"
Put your group in a circle and give them each a fruit name (we have
even given them a piece of scrap paper to hang on to, to remember
what fruit they are -ie red- apple, green- pear, purple- grape ect.)
One less chair than there are people, the extra person is the
caller. The caller calls a fruit and all those switch place with
the one in the middle trying to get a seat. For total bedlam call
fruit basket upset and everyone has to find a new seat.
A fun game - I have even seen Adults enjoy this game.
We did try this with the younger ones and they were either trying
to 'bruise' the fruit (each other) or they were all standing in the
middle - trying to be 'last'. We were trying to think of an
incentive for the one that was in the middle the least but haven't
tried that yet.
Love all the ideas.
Keep them coming - It's good to know the ones that have worked.
Our Troop will be getting
together with another troop for some fun and games. These boys do
not know each other. (Neither do the adults).
Any suggestions for activities or games to break the ice AND be fun would be
