We had a *very* successful first-ever Roundup, tripling our Pack and setting
up *two* Tiger Cub Dens. The Tiger Coodinators are very enthusiastic and
creative, but are bogged down with the mechanics of holding meetings. I've
been able to help them with all questions, but am at a loss with one. Due to
the parent-boy attendance at meetings, some parents are concerned with what
to do with *siblings*. Most families can only spare one of the parents for
partivcipation due to work considerations (Meetings are planned between 4:00
and 5:00). Basically, there is no central "sitter" person or organization
for the siblings. My experience has strictly been with Cubs, and this issue
is not a problem. We, as other Packs, encourage siblings to attend Pack
Meetings. Den meetings have a rotating parent participation requirement
planned two months in advance, so no one family is unduly burdened with the
meeting *and* siblings.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated, since our Roudtable has not yet included
Tiger Leaders in its format.
Thanx in advance.....
