Well, I guess my list reputation is going to be as a flamer (whoosh), but here
I was really quite sorry to hear of the Brandon, MS Tiger. My heart goes out
to his family and his den and pack. I am touched by all of the responses of
sympathy that have appeared on the list, but angry and frustrated that a
Scouter could make such a negative sweeping generalization as Cheryl did.
Growing up below the Mason Dixon line does not automatically lower one's IQ.
And growing up outside of the South does not make one a genius. To insinuate
that no one else in the whole United States or for that matter the world allows
their kids to ride in the back of a picktruck is absurd. Surely, you did not
mean what you said.
Here in Germany, the law is that children under 50 inches tall must ride in the
back seat, also, seat belts are mandatory in all seats, not just the front. If
they do not meet the size requirements, a car seat or booster seat is the law.
Again, please pass to the Cub's family my deepest sympathy.
