It would help if you did name names, at least privately It seems to me
that no Scouter on this list is doing this to you and others, deliberately
(sorry for the missing periods - I'm leaving them out in case i'm the
guilty one) More likely they don't know they are the perpetrators and if
you don't say something to them they will continue to offend without
knowing it It's equally likely that they don't know how to set the lines
on their mailer so you might want to share with them how to do it I take
another list in digest form and don't have this problem I don't see a lot
complaints on this so it seems to be a "feature" (any bug that can be
documented can be called a "feature") of only a few mailers i'd be curious
to know which mailers have this feature of dumping the rest of a message
when a period appears at the start of a line if someone knows how to set
line lengths for various mailers please share the information so the
inadvertantly ignorant among us can mend our ways ;-) better to light a
candle than curse the darkness :-)
