On the Tiger fundraiser question, we have always (for 6 years) asked
that our Tigers participate in our Popcorn fundraiser but we cut the
amount that we expect them to sell by two-thirds (about $60
worth of prodcut. We have included them as part of a whole Pack
program and they always have been invited to 90% of the Pack
events (age appropriate) Feelings of our committee is that they
benefit from some of the same events so they should bear a
burden, but greatly reduced from the rest of the Pack. Some of the
costs that affect the Tigers (in the past years) and are covered by
their fund-raising efforts include, Pinewood kits and patch, Blue &
Gold admission & patch (we have a fully catered B&G), Tiger group
supplies, Pack outings (Detroit Tiger game), Pack Goodwill
program, conservation project, award ribbons for misc events (such
as father/son cake bake) Tiger graduation patch, diploma, and pin.
The Pack also supplies them their wolf scarf and new wolf book for
graduation, along with all Tiger coach to new leader training and
materials for the new year.
Hope it helps.
