Well, Alan, I wish this was more than partially true. The "Scouts in a
Scout troop", or more importantly, "Scouts in a patrol", is the greatest
asset of the Wood Badge course. Howeer, if a Scout or Patrol Leader in a
real troop were to ask the SPL, "What's happening this afternoon?" in order
to "Be Prepared" and got the answer you would normally get from a Woodbadge
staffer, I would have to have a serious talk with him. The staff attitude
that is encouraged by the design of the course in its greatest liability.
