The REAL authentic OLD world crest, were issued by the
world bureau, and were a woven very flat material, like silk.
My brother picked up a few of the old woven ones while on tour
after the 57 World Jambo, or maybe at the jambo itself.
The USA/BSA version has always been a part embroidery on twill,
as long as I have had mine. However, the requirements to earn
the right to wear the world scouting crest changed some years
There are OLD versus new/current requirements, the crest/badge
or patch has not really changed. BUT, I could be corrected again :)
