Yes, I have heard of the St. George Award. It is the adult religious award
for the Roman Catholic and Episcopalian faiths. If I remember correctly, the
only difference is the color of the ribbon between the two faiths as the
medal is the same.
It is not the highest award the BSA gives out because that distinction is
held by the Eagle Scout Award. In terms of church awards, you might be able
to say it is the highest BSA related religious award given by those 2
faiths. And as far as recognitions, then you would be looking at Silver
Beaver, Antelope, Buffalo. However these are of course available to all
regardless of faith.
