I believe that I read or heard in training that den's MAY NOT do
fundraising. Can you set up the fundraising event as OPTIONAL - then only
your dens that want to will participate? I don't know how your Pack does
dues, but if your Den Dues goes to the Pack to be reimbursed with Den
Leader receipts, could you not show Camp receipts and be reimbursed for
fees? Otherwise you'll need a policy change with the Pack Committee to
set up camp accounts.
Last year only 2 dens sold popcorn to model how much money could be made
in our Pack. Some of the Committee still doesn't want to do popcorn and
we made nearly ALL the budget. Oh well...
