I earned the privelege to wear the crest while working as a Commissioner
with Korean Scouts when I was assigned there in 79-80. Before the current
BSA tan/green uniform appeared. Had the solid light green uniform then, the
one without any red piping. Don't remember all the specific requirements,
haven't bothered to look them up either, tonight!
It is the same patch. Wore it several years on the current uniform before
it was designated as an optional badge for all to wear.
