I am interested to know why old style uniforms "officially" can no longer
be worn. I ahve always been told by council and district staff (and it
has been a part of Woodbadge here as well) that "once uniform, always
uniform." If there is someplace which states that the old uniform stuff
can't be worn, I have yet to find it, and the head-honchos here haven't
found it yet, either, nor received that information.
I understand the need for uniformity and such, but when Woodbadge
staffers wear the old stuff, in part just to prove the point that they
can be worn, I have a hard time believing that they are no longer "legal."
Long live collarless shirts!
