Yes, IF "they are of a size." There can be BIG size differences in that
age group. An "old" 12 year old can kick much harder than the skull of
a "young" 10 year old should take.
But 10-12 yr old boys would be more coordinated than a 6 year
old boy, and they (10-12) could learn to head the ball correctly.
Still, it's only a game, and not heading one or two balls is
probably not going to make a big difference in the outcome
of the game. At least, not when I have played or coached.
