Perhaps you could share the fruits of your research with the list. I for one
would be interested in seeing what you came up with. If it's too long to
post on the list perhaps Mike Bowman could put it on the USSSP FTP site for us.
On the topic of scouting and religion, just a verse I'd like to share with
"Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the King." (1 Peter
2:17, KJV) To me this verse sums up all the principles in the Scout Promise.
Unfortunately, some of this meaning seems to be lost somewhat in
translations other than the King James' version. Especially the "politically
corrected" versions of "love the brotherhood" ;^)
