Last year we used instant recognition beads on a lanyard and gave
out the "paws" at troop meetings. Each boy was recognised for his "big"
accomplishment. We also had a policy of trading in ten beads for a tiger
claw (really a bear claw, but they never knew...). I also made different
fobs for each big pack activity they came to. Camping, Scouting for food and
such got thier own recognition in this way.
