Barry shared his concerns about bring up 30 to 40 additional boys and
making "boring" presentations. I can truly appreciate that concern.
Not being involved on the Boy side of the Scout family, I'm not really
sure about how many troops/dens that represents, but why not have the
Den Leader (I apologize for my lack of appropriate terminology!) select
one boy (or allow the boys to determine a "rotation" format) to receive
their awards at the pack meeting and then be 'tasked' with presenting
the other boys of his den with their awards at a den meeting?
This solution would avoid taking additional pack time presenting
similar/same awards, make each den proud that someone from their den was
receiving awards on the pack level, help teach the Tigers about
ceremonies on the troop level, and could even help teach the Tigers
about sharing the 'limelight'.
