This is a very interesting Question as University of Scouting has
a variety of meanings for as many Scout Councils there are: In Orange
County, Ca. the University of Boy Scouting only lasted about 5 years as
such. It is now called Leaderrship Training Siminar and all Cub, Boy and
Explorer Scout leaders are encouraged to attend. In this instance it is
more like what most people call Cub Pow Wow. Only forr every one of the scouting
areas. It will include a midway during the lunch time for the
best cubs to show off what their Pack can do, the best scout troop to
show off, and the explorer groups to show off also. But in other areas,
even in California, they may do something entirely different.
>2) Where is it, is it offered at different colleges?
Normally ours is held at a Junior College or at a Church that
will allow that type of training to go on.
>3) How can you attend?
Contact your local Council Service Center for dates and times.
>3) Where can we find more information?
Again I can only point you to the Local Council Service Center in
your area to find out more about this great training opportunity.

Hope this helps if I can pass any information to others please let me
know. I'm really not a know it all but the Council Service Center is a
very local call for me and I do have some background in Scouting.
