I had these exact same experiences this year while driving I-75 home
from work through Cincinnati. The first was a burning car complete with
exploding gas tank. No one was hurt, but the interesting thing about it
was the rush hour traffic continueing to literally drive through the
flames in order to get down the road. I was only one of two vehicle
The second was a slow drunk (15 MPH) that couldn't stop hitting the
guard rail and narrowly missed causing dozens of wrecks. I followed her
and was on the phone with 911 for nearly 30 minutes and 15 miles until
the police final found us. Since she still wouldn't stop, the 2 police
cars had to box her in and force her to stop. Very weird experience. I
can't imagine being that polluted and still sitting up enough to drive.
