There are a couple Providers out there that will give you a free E-Mail
account. The two companies that I know of are JUNO, as mentioned before, and
FreeMark. I have a JUNO account, and have since set up my wife with an
account as well. In addition, I plan to distribute copies (which is legal
and Juno encourages it) of the software to the scouts in my troop. This way
they can correspond with each other, and we will also have another avenue to
distribute information regarding meetings, events, camping trip schedules,
Juno , and I think FreeMark too, has a limitation on the size of the e-mails.
Juno is about 60-70kb, and neither service provides the ability to get
attachments to e-mails. In addition, both services are only geared for IBM
Windows users. Juno is currently working on a MAC version which the expect
to have out soon.
If anyone is interested, I will gladly E-mail you the ZIP file. I know
someone else was willing to send the disks. I am only offering it through E-
Mail to try to reduce the burden and postage of the fellow scouter.
Please note that the file will be attached to an e-mail, and will be about
