Tell him that the program has changed by leaps and bounds in the last
2-3 years (for the better, IMHO). Let him know about the Reflection
Process, tell him that Scouting IS a Safe Haven. There have been so many
new things added that even someone with BS Wood Badge 5-10 years ago would
be doing themselves a favor by attending a refresher in Scoutmasterships
Let him know that the PUSH is on to _Deliver the Promise_, we will all
be seeing alot more of that as the year goes on. To deliver the promise,
we all need to learn to guide and direct the Scouts, Train them to LEAD
themselves, and let them have at it.
We will be seeing MAJOR changes between Oct 98 - Feb 99, but in the
meantime retraining is a needed thing for anyone not up to date.
