Anyone interested in contributing to the fund for the people of Cimarron,
New Mexico affected by the tornado can mail a check (payable to "Tornado
Relief Fund") to:
P. O. Box 417
Cimarron, NM 87714
I returned from Cimarron last weekend, and have just now finished perusing 2
weeks of email. I may have missed it, but do not believe the above appeared
on the lists.
My crew was outside of the medical building when the tornado came. Five
minutes prior to its arrival, one of our "yoots" said he thought a tornado
was coming. Everyone laughed at him. They stopped laughing when the funnel
arrived. I suppose he is psychic.
The relief effort has received enough food and clothing, but could use more
money. There were other funds established (another bank in Raton and ARC),
but the above bank is the only one I for which I have an address.
