FWIW, my only experience along this line was in South Vietnam. Vietnamese Boy S
traveling in uniform seemed to enjoy carte blanch protection against Viet Cong a
that their countrymen , in or out of uniform, did not enjoy.
Flying home in an Army Class-A uniform I attracted attention from everyone from
and hari krisnas, to grandmother-types who took the opportunity to spit at me, t
attack me, and to tell me that I was a baby killer.
Wearing either a class-A or class-B Boy Scout uniform, I have encountered nothin
respect and good will.
