Take it from a Park Ranger who has been wearing those straw monsters for
the last 20 years. They are extremely uncomfortable. The straw swells
nicely when our head sweats, but the sweat band does not give at all.
This can lead to some tremendous headaches if you are out all day
wearing your "flat hat".
As an Assistant Scoutmaster, I much prefer the baseball cap.
