We draw from two schools and share each with a different pack. One of which
we helped establish when ours got too large. Last year, one leader told the
parents about Scouting (and volunteering) in general. Each Cubmaster was
given time to "sell" their program. I was confident because we have a better
program and I am a better salesman ;-)
In the end, I believe that most parents made their decision based upon what
Pack night fit into their schedule the best.
We had a minimal attendance at the second school on the scheduled night
because the other Pack did an "advance" school night!
How should we handle that problem?
