I wish we were fortunate enough to receive the above courtesy. Our districts
Cub Family Adventure Day had a shortfall of about $300 dollars this year. A
month later, our districts Day Camp netted a profit to the Council of better
than $1600. When going over the calender for '96-'97, the DE told our ADC for
Cub Scouts that we would have Cub Family Adventure Day any more.
But then again, they have made all BS training a Council function, eliminating
the 4 District Training teams. This was done due to the fact that SM
wasn't making any money.
