I on the other hand look at it as: She says her ankle hurt after the 1st
vault, she's limping, she doesn't know what to do, she looks over at her
coach who tells her to shake it off.
So she vaults again and seriously injures her ankle
and will probably miss participating in the individual all-around.
Perhaps she would not have made the all-around without the 2nd score
anyway. Some people are saying in retrospect that they had the gold even
without her vault, they just didn't know it at the time.
She also is planning on attending college(UCLA?) and
participating on the university team. Has she jepoardized her college
career with this injury? She has been declining winning from meets so she
can remain an amateur so she can be on the college team.
