Look in the Tours and Expeditions pamphlet, #33735. Mine is a 94 printing.
On page 23, left column, item 17 states " Two or more cars in the same tour
group should never attempt to stay together on the road. Drivers should
establish points of rendezvous at sutiable meeting places. Avoid driving in
line "convoy style"".
Note the word "should". No "expressly forbidden" words here. It is a VERY
good safety point, however.
On reverse of the Local Tour Permit, #34426, item 18 in the section "Our
Pledge of Performance" states the same thing using different words.
I would watch the one-sided copies of tour permits. There are some definite
need to know items on te back of the permit. Mainly, the insurance
requirements. Our Council expects that we provide this information before
they will approve the permit.
