I've been reading the comments on beltloops and how boys 'Should do
their Best', but in my pack they instruct the den leaders to sit down
with each boy's parents and mark off as many rank requirements as they
can that they have done sometime in the past.
At a committee meeting, I challenged whether this was 'right'. I'm new
in BSA so I'll believe you if you tell me this is so. Is there an
offical ruling on advancement, or is it left up to a pack to decide what
standards must be meant for advancement.
