Sorry Tim, but that doesn't sound very old to me. Each council has this
information in their computer; it is on your charter printout every year.
The oldest troop in our council (Troop 23 in Edgewood PA) completed 1002
months of continuous registration as of the end of June. (Yes, that's 83 and
a half years!) We have five troops that are eligible to wear the 75 year
strip, and a sixth that will be eligible next year.
I would suspect that the Greater Salt Lake Council can match or exceed that
number, since the Latter-Day Saints adopted scouting as their official boy's
youth program in 1912. can anyone from Salt Lake City confirm this?
