I really enjoyed "Stand By Me." It studies the relationships of a
group of boys about 11 or 12 years old. Basically, these 4 young boys (in
the 1960s) journey overnight to find/see the body of another young
(missing) boy who is reported to have been hit by a train. You see how
these boys relate with each other, with their parent(s), and with an older
group of (bully) boys. There are humor, excitement, and hold-your-breath
moments. My son at the age of 8 enjoyed the movie and at the age of 10
I'd him to see it again. I dont' think you can go wrong with this one!
