I had some problems with my senior scouts at summer camp. When I got back
and spoke with the committee chairman, she told me not to worry about it.
Boys will be boys. Not this type of behavior.
I would like to punish the parents along with the scouts. I want to hold a
parent meeting of those scouts involved along with the boys and solve the
problem. I would like to have the parents attend the next 2 campouts that
the scouts will attend and have them write themselves a behavior contract
that I will sign along with the parent and the scout.
Does anyone else have another idea that might work with older scouts
without loosing them. Just so you know the behavior was bad enough for two
conferences with the program director and one with the Assistant Camp
